What the CFO Institute offers
- Peer Networks – provides an opportunity for young finance executives to engage with a ‘like-minded’ peer group. It provides a forum to learn and contribute through the sharing of experiences and collective ‘problem-solving’
- Annual Summits – annual meetings to set the agenda for the community’s strategic and most current issues. The Institute’s summits bring together a focused audience and authoritative speakers, in a highly interactive format
- Briefing Sessions – a series of bi-monthly meetings throughout the year, focused on operating and technical issues, provide opportunities to network and exchange information with a senior and informed peer group. Constructive debate, diverse opinions and in-depth discussions provide a premier networking and instructive forum
- Blogs, Discussion Forums & Knowledge Centre – members have continuous access to online blogs and discussion forums, allowing for debate, providing and receiving feedback and quick response to queries. The Institute also offers access, both online and offline, to journals, articles, high quality and specialist content shared by senior members of the community
- Research and Advisory Services – original research and thoughtful analyses are the cornerstones of research services offered by The CFO Institute. On a regular basis, our team of research professionals will provide commissioned and sponsored research based white papers and survey reports, relevant to the current environment, to our members
- Ask an Expert – members are given access to the wisdom of lifetime members (with over 20 years of experience), via email/chat/forums, to assist/advise on matters related to finance, economics, accounting ranging from broad macro issues to highly specific problems
- Training Programmes – we capture the wealth of experience that exists from an experienced and senior group of CFOs, and ensure that it is not lost as careers advance, through the dissemination of knowledge and experience, ensuring ‘renewal’. The CFO Institute’s training programmes are designed to provide CAs and finance professionals with the insight and skills they need to become effective CFOs
- Mentoring Services – the Institute will promote its pool of lifetime and fellow members for associations in an advisory/mentoring capacity. Lifetime and fellow members can, if they wish, offer their services for part-time engagement as consultants, advisors, trainers, mentors, independent directors, audit committee members and speaker/presenters
